SPEAK OUT!
Speak out Stay safe is a safeguarding programme for children aged 5- to 11-years-old. It is available to all primary schools in the UK and Channel Islands. It helps children understand:
- abuse in all its forms and how to recognise the signs of abuse
- that abuse is never a child’s fault and they have the right to be safe
- where to get help and the sources of help available to them, including the NSPCC's Childline service.
The Speak out Stay safe programme includes:
- A virtual assembly for children aged 5-7 and 7-11
- Follow on lesson plans with engaging activities and resources to help reinforce and embed key messages
- Face-to-face workshops for children aged 6-7 and 9-11
Pantosaurus
Celebrating 10 years of Talk PANTS!
Pantosaurus has helped 1.5 million parents Talk PANTS and help keep their children safe from sexual abuse. At All Saints' we use the lessons provided by the NSPCC to help keep children safe.
Developed in consultation with children, parents, carers and teachers, Talk PANTS is to help children understand their body belongs to them, and they should tell a safe adult they trust if anything makes them feel upset or worried.
Tips and advice to help keep your kids safe
Talk PANTS is here to help children understand that they have a right to say no and if they need to speak out about something, someone will listen.
We know that a simple conversation can make a BIG difference, and that’s what Talk PANTS is all about.
Please take a look at the resources below to understand their work further.
