The children were very excited this week to take part in the 'School Fund Matters' Honey Bee Programme. They learnt all about caring for bees, why they need protecting and how they make honey. Fun Fact: a queen bee lays up to 2500 eggs a day during the summer months when the hive needs to be at it's strongest.
