On Friday 23rd February Aquila and Lynx class came together at Haydons road to enjoy a day delving deeper into their topic of Anglo Saxons. All the children dressed up in traditional Saxon clothing and even had a chance to dress the teachers up! They really enjoyed looking at all the different kinds of weaponry and tools and learnt more about what daily life was really like for the Saxons. The children made their own shields and got to act out how the Saxons would defend themselves in battle.
