All Saints' C of E Primary School

Rights Respecting School

We are proud to be Gold holders of the Rights Respecting Schools Award (see the full report below). As a Rights Respecting school, we provide many purposeful opportunities for the children to learn about the world around them and to engage in meaningful ways. We passionately believe that pupil voice should help to drive a school forward, and there are many opportunities for interactive participatory pupil voice, not only in PSHE class lessons but across the school through cross-curricular activities and school bodies such as our Ambassadors and Eco Warriors. Our representatives regularly create and run whole-school Collective Worship to teach about children’s rights, celebrate special themed days that promote British Values and strengthen children’s understanding of inclusivity.

Through their learning, our children understand their role as advocates for change both on a local and global scale, and that it is withing their power to truly make a difference.
